Finally the fall is here

Hello everyone,

I love the summers, I am sure you all could guess with the my summer cards. But finally it is Fall on my blog.

I created this card with an inspiration from the MFT weekly sketch 504.

I used the 4.25x 5.5 inch 110lb Neenah desert cardstock. I stamped all my images from teb mft stamp the fall friends on the 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using the  hero art black dye. I then Copic colored them as per the colors of the mft color challenge.

Since I didn't have the pattern paper for the fall I created my own. I hope you appreciate that.

And yes now the background, I used the wild honey, spiced marmalade, carved pumpkin and fired brivmck to prep up my background and splattered some water to give that distress look. I then assembled all my elements and tadaa.. It is done..

Happy birthday

 Hello everyone,

I love the  small details of the stamps in the lawn fawn stamps and this stamps et is so versatile to create.

I love this totally.. I create this card for a friend who wants to send birthday wishes to his nieces who are twins.. Isn't that really really cool..

Those girls are inseparable and mostly the bestest friends on the planet..

This is my rotating card of the night nad day series. I forgot to click the picture of the other side.. But to give a little idea, the background rotates so demonstrate the day and night the days be all good..

I decided to stall the Sentiments inside and leave the top plain and simple.

You're mermazing / sending oceans of love

 Hello everyone,

I think I love the mermaids way too much.. And that's been growing on all my friends now.. He he.. Sending by girl friends mermaid cards on their birthday is one of the most beautiful memories we can create for them isn't it..

I stamped the images on the Neenah solar white 110lb cardstock using the versamark onyx ink colored with the Copic markers and fussy cut them.

I then prepared the background on the 110 Neenah solar white cardstock by using wilted violet, tumbled glass, cracked pistachio and squeezed lemonade distress Oxides.

Then I die cut the panel using the scalloped rectangles by lawn fawn and pasted the inside panel on the 300gsm white cardstock.

I then embossed the Sentiments in silver embossing powder and prepped the panel with some anti static powder and added the shaker elements to freely move inside.

Adhered the acetate sheet with the. 25 inch double sided tape to the background and the clear double sided tape to the outer frame. After it was all done, pasted all my elements on top the acetate and the frame..

Tadaa the card us made and measures 4.25x 5.5 inches side folded card. I hope you like it as much as I  enjoyed making it..

You are Mermazing

Hello everyone,

After a long hectic week finally I got time to create card or if I may say a few cards to send it across to my friends for their sister's and nieces what better could fun be that.. Isn't it.

One of them I created with the inspiration from the MFT sketch challenge and the color inspiration from the Time out challenge.

Yes, so that's a beautiful one and definitely an awesome card from a sister on her birthday.

I really enjoyed coloring these mermaids with the copics after I stamped them. With my hero arts black dye on the 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock. I blended in the tumbled glass and spun sugar distress oxides to create the background and used the craftangles waves stencil to add texture. This card measures 4.24x 5.5 inch on a 300 GSM white cardstock.

Hope you like it..

Beautiful

 Hello everyone,

The day 4 lesson in the mft summer school was the ombre technique. So much heard and seen about it but I had no really great ideas about it.

I love Ink blending and playing with different shades. So I decided to play with it with my MFT roses all over background stamp.

I stamped the roses using the versamark clear embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I then cut the panel in three to give it a little dimension.

I then ink blended using the distress inks in festive berries, picked raspberries and spun sugar such that the darkest shade is at the bottom and the lightest on the top.

I die cut the beautiful sentiment and it's shadow from the purple cardstock and vellum paper respectively using the mft dienamics.

I adhered all three heat embossed panels on the 300 GSM side folding cardstock and then pasted the beautiful sentiments.

Tadaa and the card is ready.

I love hanging out with you

 Hello everyone,

Day 5 at the mft summer school talks about the clean and simple cards. And that's not really simple for me.

I really struggled but realized that summers are the best things for clean and simple. The color white resembles the cool breezy white linen see through curtains very common in the tropical and oriental households.

The smell of the powder blue indigo and lavender and the freshly starched clothes which we call the kurta pajamas/ cotton linen sari.. So yes I got the insipiration from there.

I took 3x 4 inch 110 lb neenah solar white cardstock, due cut the second circle from the lawn fawn stitched nesting circles ave kept it aside.

I prepared the side folding note card from the 300 GSM white cardstock by inking the wild wisteria from mft on to the all lined up background stamp by mft again.

Time for stamping, I stamped the images of tree, deer, squirrel and a mushroom from the mft sweet spring friends stampset using the versamark onyx black ink on to the 110lb neenah solar white cardstock, Copic colored them and die cut using the coordinating dies.

I also die cut some grass from the mama elephant grass due cutout is now time to assemble an my elements such that it peeps through the circle die cut.

And in the end I stamped the Sentiments using the salty ocean distress ink from the same stamp set to complete the card. I hope you like it..

Celebrating your special day

 Hello everyone

It hurts to not to be able to go to birthday parties and meet friends and family personally but a lovely colorful card can really fill in that gap.. Isn't it

I'm crating a card on day 1 theme the visual triangles.. I didn't really have that concept before it was shown in the summer school.

I decided to give it a try. I began with die cutting three circles out from my lawn fawn concentric stitched circle dies of the 110lb neenah solar white cardstock.

I then took another side folding note card measuring 4.25x 5.5 inches and did a little of smooshing with hero arts greens and yellows ink cubes so that they could peep out from the circle die cuts.

Time for some coloring and die cutting. I stamped the mice from the its a mice time stampset by mft using hero arts black dye on top the 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock and colored it with shades of Copic markers. And then fussy cut them. I stamped a balloon and Copic colored it and also a trio of three balloons which was transformed into triple scoop ice-cream.

I also die cut some banner from the lawn fawn die set and colored using the copics.

I then adhered the die cut panel and adhered my little mice. Time to add some glossy accent over the mice hats and gifts and ice cream to add that extra lustre.

I then added some washi tape at the bottom to add the party glitter and stamped Sentiments from the same stampset to finish the look.

Tadaa and my card is ready!!

Marching band of mice!!

 Hello everyone,

How fun it would be to dance on the tunes of the mice. I have created a little scene from the strike the band stampset which is one of my favorites from MFT.

I stamped at the mice with hero arts black dye on 110lb Neenah Solar white cardstock and colored using the rainbow colors from various shades of Copic markers and fussy cut them.

I then took a 4.25x5.5 side folding notecard abd prepped it with tumbled glass and mowed lawn distress ink.

I then pasted all the pre cut mice and added some banner die cuts from lawn fawn which I colored with copics again.

Lastly I stamped the Sentiments from the same stampset using Hero arts black dye

Hope you like it.

Happy birthday : Day 3 symmetry

Hello everyone,

I decided to do something out of my comfort zone again by using the muted tones of colors which I generally do not do.

I started with stamping the mouse image geek the MFT stampset it is a mice time on my Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock and colored with various shades of copic markers.

I then created some textures on the 110 lb Neenah solar white cardstock which measures 3.25x 4.5 inches. I used stars and horizontal lines stencils by Craftangles using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide. I then die cut the scalloped circle from the mint green glitter paper and adhered on the cardstock and then pasted my little mouse.

I then added some layers by pasting this panel on the pattern paper by jugs and then on the 4.25x5.5 top folding white cardstock. I stamped happy birthday Sentiments from the same stampset. Tadaa and it's ready.

Hello!!!

Hello everyone,

Today we are celebrating the Independence Day and you know our national flower is Lotus. I decided to create something that represents our national symbol and also send out cards to friends to check on them other than just the WhatsApp and Zoom.

I decided to water color the lotus. So I stamped my lotus from the hello lovely stampset by Craftangles and water colored them using the Eggplant and poolside water colors by Craftangles after I stamped them on water color paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I then fussy cut them and adhered with the 3d foam tape on the patterned paper. I then adhered the whole panel on the 300gsm white cardstock side folding note card measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches.

I then die cut the Sentiment hello from the mft dienamics from the baby pink flower paper and stacked them to give it a dimension and adhered on to the pattern paper.

I also added the nuvo clear drops on the lotus petals to mimic the dew drops.. And tadaa my card is ready..

Please let me know if it like it 😃

Lawn Fawn: Color Challenge

Hello Everyone,

A friend of mine asked me to create a card for her fiance, they as a couple love to talk, spend time with each other and all the more love to go on bike rides, camp and basically a fun loving people..

And scrolling on further on Lawn Fawnatics I found out this color challenge going on, I decided to take inspiration from this and start on...

I used the Wonky Stitched Slimline Die from Trinity Stamps, used the Distress Inks- Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord, seedless Preserves, Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed to blend in on the sky. die cut the black mountains and little trees from the same die set, cut the pastures from the Mama elephant grassy borders in green, kraft and white cardstock, adhered them on the panel to add some layering, splattered some water colors of the same color.

Now it is time for some stamping, the little Sid and Dove, little critters that come out in the night, were stamped and copic colored. I die cut the banners from Lawn fawn  and colored them with copic markers.

Adhered all in the place and run again through the Wonky Stitched Die Cut for Symmetry. Added the sentiments from the same stamp set.

Lawn Fawnatics : Summer

 Hello Everyone,

You remember in order to play along this challenge i ordered a few stamps, fortunately i got most of the order  but one.. So what do we do?? Do you remember I told you soldiers dont sulk, they use the what they have in their arsenal... So i decided to use up my arsenal and create a scene.. A normal scene would not be that catchy.. isn't it...so lets make it interesting...

Did you check out my Sid and Dove who could talk endlessly all day and night.. they are back again.. holidaying on the tropical sea beach..by the day they play in the sand, build castles, binge on chips and hydrate themselves in juices.

But as the night sets in, they camp on the beach, barbecue the marshmallows, potato and some cottage cheese.. that's really healthy isn't it..??? and yes talk endlessly...

You have to check it amazing design...I love it...

Love you Always

 Hello Everyone,

A craft store by the name A1 crafts is revamping itself with one of the best crafting supplies all stocked up. And they have a challenge Pink and Gray...This becomes fascinating as this color challenge would really tickle me out of the comfort zone.

I really thought hard as to what i should be using in my stash to match up to the pinks and grays.. So if you have been following me you would know how much I love the Magnolias. I decided to play along this challenge with my water colored magnolias.

For this I stamped my magnolias in spun sugar distress ink on to the Brustro 100% water color paper cut in 4 x 5 inches and started to color with the Craftangles Plum and kept adding water and layers to add the shades. on the background I used the Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

For the sentiments i used the Hello Lovely Stampset by Craftangles and stamped it with Versamark Onyx Black ink and adhered with the 3D foam tape.

I adhered my water color panel on to the 300 GSM white card stock.

Always be a Unicorn

 Hello Everyone,

This is one of the last DT posts for Craftyscrappers, I think the designers really nailed it with the cute little images of the unicorns and fairies. Who does not adore the rainbows and unicorns..??

I started with die cutting 2 circles from the Lawn Fawn stitched nested circles from The Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock. Now using the Distress Inks Salty Ocean, Tumbles Glass, Seedless Preserves and Dusty Concord , I started to blend in order to a vibrant background.

I then splattered some water and dried it with some kitchen paper towel so that water reactive look. I also splattered some opaque white paint and some white dots using the Sakura white gel pen.

I die cut some clouds from the mama elephant cloud dies in white and vellum and created the bas to make the unicorn fly over the clouds.

Now its is time for some stamping and fussy cut. I chose on of the flying unicrn stamp from the Unicorns and Fairies stamp set and copic colored it with Cool Grays and Pastel Rainbow Shades. and adhered it on the background.

I then added some Glitter, glossy accent on the unicorn..

and stamped the image as Always be a Unicorn in Seedless Preserve.

With Gratitude

 Hello Everyone,

Magnolias for her are one of my most favorite stamp sets by Altenew.. I love the tenderness and softness that the flowers can exhibit.

I decided to color them using my newly acquired water colors by craftangles. I really wanted to see how pigmented and free flowing are they..

I stamped my images of the magnolia flower using the Antique Linen Ink and the started coloring in craftangles poolside blue and coudroy brown distress ink on the brustro 100% cotton water color paper. i also used artist grade Prussian Blue to add shadows of blue.

I heat embossed the sentiments in gold from the Sentiments Stamp Set by Craftyscrappers. I then adhered the water color panel on 300 GSM white cardstocks.
