Beautiful today tomorrow forever

Hello everyone,

This one is really very close to my heart. I tried the no line water coloring for the first time.. It was jasleen from the same blog hop who told me that spun sugar can distress ink can also be used to stamp images for the no line water coloring.

And then I laid hands on this.. Looooooong awaited stamp set peony bouquet by altenew.. Seems like I have something for altenew, the florals are so much fascinating and I explored this only after this one.

I took up kristina werner's online tutorial on this one and just went on as she guided.

If you follow me on Instagram you would know the step by step progress that I made on this one..

And finally at the 11th hour I realized I forgot to complete this one, and it had to be for the women's day, as this started with a woman crafter telling me about the ink, painting and finally it had to be for this!!!

And then I added the Sentiments by Craftyscrappers and craftangles both made in India heat embossed with golden on vellum.

I hope you liked it, as much as I did creating this.. Loads of love and hugs ❤️❤️

When you sparkle.... 🔹

Hello everyone,

During the lockdown I decided to use it effectively, learning different techniques. All those who have been following me on my Instagram handle (@the_cardogram) or through Facebook (cardogram by dhruvika) would notice that I've been into florals from a few weeks and I've enjoying thoroughly.

I decided to learn the human Copic coloring.. Through the virtual classes, I learnt the facial Copic coloring and created my first card.. Click here.. And I really enjoyed the distraction..

The most important thing i enjoyed was coloring her eyes green.. Hope you like it too..

Thinking of you

Hello everyone,

I have to confess that this year I decided to try florals and a lot of rainbow colored cards, and while doing so I explored that I love making florals and with water colored mediums.

Coming across a huge number of artists and card makers who have a forte of making florals, they have been inspiring me, ever since. This is a technique I learnt from Jennifer Mcguire wherein the outlines are white embossed and carefully colored with the water colors.

I took this opportunity to create the flowers with my personal favorite peony bouquet and water colored them using the camel watercolors. Created the wet on dry background repeating the technique thrice. I've intentionally given those water marks so bring out the colored peony.  I have done the similar thing for the leaves.

In the end I still thought that there's something missing is when I stamped the little twigs in pumice stone distress ink randomly and colored with the pthalo green color. Stamped the Sentiments from Craftyscrappers in altenew black ink.

And die cut the bottom of the card in the lace die cut to give a feminine look.

Hope you like it..

You're MAGICAL!!!

Hello everyone,

I had been thinking of creating the card for the women's day blog hop ever since the little peeps to the projects created by the hosts started to come out.

I wasn't really sure if want do I want.. I wanted something that resonated with me and I was convinced about it.. I started with a lot of ideas but couldn't execute them the way I wanted them to turn out.

Women to me are the strongest specie on the earth both physically and mentally, I wanted to create a mountaineer, an ode to my mountaineer friends who are really strong women.

Then I thought they are the queens, classy and yet sassy.. Then I realized they are God's classic creations, they are magical.. And thus I Copic colored this beauty!

You can catch my Copic coloring video on my channel.. The link is just below..

Hope you like it!! To all the women in our lives who have been transforming us and tbe world.. Cheers! 🥂

Happy birthday!!!!

Hello everyone,

A lot of goodness has been expressed by so many crafting companies by providing digital stamps to us, crafters!

I created this clean and simple card using the clearly besotted spring bloom digital stamp. I Copic colored it, and created the background using the mft inks and set them up in the mft dome frame. And set them up..

Hello

Hello,

I came across this challenge at Time Out. Honestly I did not know much about Epilepsy. But this did increase my awareness about the condition.
Purple being my favorite, I decided to play for this and it reminded of a friend who I had briefly met 11 years back and she has been a great friend ever since then.

I have used the lilies stamp set by altenew, background stamp by  Simon Says stamp and sentiments by MFT.

I have water colored the background, while stamped the images in layering using different shades of purple. To add zing I hold embossed the stemen of the flower using the wow embossing powder.

I hope you like it..

Sending love

Hello everyone,

Admist the Covid-19,everything has become scary, people are fearful in my part of the country.

The government has imposed curfew so that the infected people can be isolated to avoid the community pandemic to aggrevate to stage3

It really pains to see how Iran and Italy are facing problems.

The fury of God on the mother earth didn't stop here, the Eastern European countries have been hit by 5.4 magnitude of earthquake. And it hurts to see the most beautiful places that I visited with husband, getting destroyed

I'm sending prayers in the cards to all the affected people hoping that things will get better soon.

In between all this, there is no dearth of tbe big hearts.. Jane from janes doodles has shared a free digi stamp which enables people like us to play along tbe challenge.

Isn't this a very cute little image, if everything becomes normal this could be the actual scene of the spring.. Isn't it..

I created this

Using tbe simon says stamp background heat embossed with the clear embossing powder and pumice distress ink. Apologies if the bad photography, mowed lawn distress ink and green dye from mft stamps. Tumbled glass distress ink for the clouds. And the grass die from mama elephant. Copic colored the digital image.

Hope you liked it😊😊😊😊

Have a magical day

Hello everyone,

Being a pilot's wife, i know the responsibility we shoulder. It's a proud moment to see dear husband fly. And when it is his birthday it is the time when we wives are actually on cloud nine.

For such one wonderful lady and a friend, I created this card, who wanted to her husband to know that everyday is magical for her because he makes her feel so from his gestures.

I created this card keeping in kind, how she calls him hubby bear and I engender how she mentions herself to be queen of her heart..

I used a 8.5x4 inch cardstock, created the background using the spun sugar, scattered straw distress ink. I cut the clods using the clids die cut. Added some pale blue in peacock green and evergreen borough distress ink. I then colored the images stamped in black Copic friendly ink by lawn fawn. The images are by itsy bitsy, Craftyscrappers and onion people design.

Colored them and pasted them using 3d foam to add some dimension.

Heat embossed the sentiments by Craftyscrappers by using the embossing powder by simon says stamp.

Added some glitter using the glitter pen..

This is again my slimline card.. Because I'm a sucker for more space and scene.. 😊😊

Hope you like it.. Please let me in the comments below 😊😊

AAA BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE

Hello everyone,

I'm so honored to guest design for AAA Birthday Challenge. The theme is flowers, welcoming the lovely flowers of the spring.

In my past of the world, the mughal gardens are blooming with flowers and gives me a lot of inspiration to create the floral cards.

I decided to create the floral card which is also the theme. For this, I used the SSS Cosmos Background.

I stamped the images using the hero arts black dye and then water colored using the distress inks.

I heat embossed the sentiments by Craftyscrappers on the vellum and wrapped around the card.

Tada, the card is ready ❤️❤️❤️
