Beautiful today tomorrow forever

Hello everyone,

This one is really very close to my heart. I tried the no line water coloring for the first time.. It was jasleen from the same blog hop who told me that spun sugar can distress ink can also be used to stamp images for the no line water coloring.

And then I laid hands on this.. Looooooong awaited stamp set peony bouquet by altenew.. Seems like I have something for altenew, the florals are so much fascinating and I explored this only after this one.

I took up kristina werner's online tutorial on this one and just went on as she guided.

If you follow me on Instagram you would know the step by step progress that I made on this one..

And finally at the 11th hour I realized I forgot to complete this one, and it had to be for the women's day, as this started with a woman crafter telling me about the ink, painting and finally it had to be for this!!!

And then I added the Sentiments by Craftyscrappers and craftangles both made in India heat embossed with golden on vellum.

I hope you liked it, as much as I did creating this.. Loads of love and hugs ❤️❤️

When you sparkle.... 🔹

Hello everyone,

During the lockdown I decided to use it effectively, learning different techniques. All those who have been following me on my Instagram handle (@the_cardogram) or through Facebook (cardogram by dhruvika) would notice that I've been into florals from a few weeks and I've enjoying thoroughly.

I decided to learn the human Copic coloring.. Through the virtual classes, I learnt the facial Copic coloring and created my first card.. Click here.. And I really enjoyed the distraction..

The most important thing i enjoyed was coloring her eyes green.. Hope you like it too..

Thinking of you

Hello everyone,

I have to confess that this year I decided to try florals and a lot of rainbow colored cards, and while doing so I explored that I love making florals and with water colored mediums.

Coming across a huge number of artists and card makers who have a forte of making florals, they have been inspiring me, ever since. This is a technique I learnt from Jennifer Mcguire wherein the outlines are white embossed and carefully colored with the water colors.

I took this opportunity to create the flowers with my personal favorite peony bouquet and water colored them using the camel watercolors. Created the wet on dry background repeating the technique thrice. I've intentionally given those water marks so bring out the colored peony.  I have done the similar thing for the leaves.

In the end I still thought that there's something missing is when I stamped the little twigs in pumice stone distress ink randomly and colored with the pthalo green color. Stamped the Sentiments from Craftyscrappers in altenew black ink.

And die cut the bottom of the card in the lace die cut to give a feminine look.

Hope you like it..

You're MAGICAL!!!

Hello everyone,

I had been thinking of creating the card for the women's day blog hop ever since the little peeps to the projects created by the hosts started to come out.

I wasn't really sure if want do I want.. I wanted something that resonated with me and I was convinced about it.. I started with a lot of ideas but couldn't execute them the way I wanted them to turn out.

Women to me are the strongest specie on the earth both physically and mentally, I wanted to create a mountaineer, an ode to my mountaineer friends who are really strong women.

Then I thought they are the queens, classy and yet sassy.. Then I realized they are God's classic creations, they are magical.. And thus I Copic colored this beauty!

You can catch my Copic coloring video on my channel.. The link is just below..

Hope you like it!! To all the women in our lives who have been transforming us and tbe world.. Cheers! 🥂

Happy birthday!!!!

Hello everyone,

A lot of goodness has been expressed by so many crafting companies by providing digital stamps to us, crafters!

I created this clean and simple card using the clearly besotted spring bloom digital stamp. I Copic colored it, and created the background using the mft inks and set them up in the mft dome frame. And set them up..
