'tis the season to be jolly

Hello everyone,

CAS cards aren't my comfort zone.. But this year I really want to try out things outside my comfort zone. I came across these following challenges (click on the images to get to the challenge)

I made the circular mask, and ink stamped the penguin the polar animal from the my favorite things sweet holiday penguins stamp set with the altenew crop jet black ink, masked it with the post it note.

Then added the snow hills by putting the post it mask papers.

Ink bending is what I enjoy the most, the used the pick raspberry, dusty concord and shaded lilac to create the background.

After the blending, colored the penguin with the copic markers.

And finally stamped the sentiments from the Merry Christmas sentiments stamp set by craftyscrappers.

Voila and the card is ready..
Hope you like it.. Please let me know in the comments below.. 😊 😊

Till then happy crafting ❤️❤️❤️

Oh la la in Paris!!

Hello everyone,

I came across a really different challenge at Time out Challenge

Isn't this great... The wardrobe has a lot of stuff and with so many memories of the stuff that we keep collecting over the period of time and one you sniff those, all the memories just start to fade in again...

With one such thing is my barret from Paris which I got for myself in 2015..😊 😊

Using the newton's nook stamp set called Newton dreams of Paris, I stamped the images, copic colored them and did such stenciling and pasted the window panel after die cutting..

the Barret and the scarf 🧣 are the items from the wardrobe..

Hope you like it, Happy crafting ❤️❤️

Oh deer i love you

Hello everyone,

This month has been quite demanding from the work side, I have been just stealing some time from the jam packed schedule.. Luckily today was off for me and I had to calm my itch to create a card for valentine's..

I wanted to create a not to hearty hearty card and not too many reds and pinks... So I thought I'd create a scene card...

And then I found my neat and tangled oh deer stamp set..

I created a layered card with the dome die cut from MFT on the regular 5.5x4.25 cardstock. Stamped the images from the near and tangled oh deer stamp set abs copic colored them. Then I realized I get to add a lot more elements to add it to the scene. So I used MFT spring friends stamp set and colored them as well..

Added the butterflies from the Lawn fawn butterfly kisses and stamped the hearts from the newton's nook le bonjour. ❤️❤️

I then created the background using clouds stencil and the grass with the distress inks mowed lawn and seedless preserves on the inner layer.. Pasted with the 3D foam tape.. And them time to assemble my elements..

And voila, the love scene card is ready..
Hope you liked it.. Please let me know how you like it in the comments below.. 😊 Happy crafting 😍😍

Sending Fairy Wishes... 🧚‍♂️

Hello everyone,

How's the year for crafting so far?? I have been quite busy with work lately, so do not get much time but i could finally sneak in to my crafting abode today and really had a lot of fun.. 😊 😊

Shaker cards are still my favorite cards.. I can just keep playing with them.. But I really like creating them as well.. 😁 The recipient just loves it... isn't it!!

I decided to use my craftyscrappers pixie stamp set.. The really lovely one indeed..

I stamped my images and copic colored them.

Then it was time to create the background, I love the saturated backgrounds.. I used the MFT Hybrid inks ripe raspberries, wild wisteria and distress ink peacock feather..  And added some water so that the water reactive effect could come out.

I then passed all my elements with the glue stick, made the frame and then pasted the acetate sheet. Added the shaker elements and closed the frame with the double sided foam tape. I added the sentiments Sending Fairy Wishes which is white heat embossed on the black cardstock.

Hope you liked it 😊 😊

Have a shaker card experience..

Super star DAD

Hello everyone,

A very happy new year to all of you.. January is the month of making resolutions, every day. Be resolution.. I do that.. 😅😅

This month also happens to be my dad's birthday month. What better gift can be than a handmade card.. So I decided to make a masculine card for dad.

I used the simon says stamp star parade die, and stacked it with seven layers. Added glitters on the stars but not too much.. The stars that came out from the negative space were then stenciled using the Chevron stencil using the spun sugar and tumbled glass distress ink.

I also used my MFT thin alphabets to cut out D's and A's to form the DAD by stacking them. I wanted to keep it simple with no stamping..

The thin die cuts looked like this..
It was the time to now assemble them all with the elements and the difficult time was the background cardstock. I tried a number of them till I liked this, kraft cardstock and pasted on the white card base..

Tadaaa...

I hope you liked it.. 😊😊
With this I'm also guest designing at male room challenge.. Here Please head on the link and play the challenge for anything masculine goes..

Happy crafting 🙂🙂
